Gum Trees
Booderee National Park, Jervis Bay
Oil on wood, Triptych
Ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
This landscape painting of striking gum trees is inspired by a visit to Booderee National Park, Jervis Bay on the NSW Coast. I was taken in by the striking whites of the trees and the subtle colours of pinks and browns against the bright blue sky.

Grounded Spotted Gum
Oil on wood, ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
Landscapes are a passion of mine to paint. In particular landscapes that are familiar to me and I feel connected to in some meaningful way. This spotted gum is on a trail that I frequent often, in the Shoalhaven area on the NSW coast. It is a striking tree with strong grounded roots along with beautiful colours and patterns on it's trunk. The tree stands magnifficently on a quiet and peaceful trail in Sanctuary Point. The strength of the tree does not detract from the quiet surrounds but instead adds a sense of groundedness. The Spotted Gum stands tall representing how powerful nature can be.
